big news & a giveaway!

it's finished! complete. D.O.N.E- done!! i started this baby blanket back in july, you might remember it here or here.... through this long, drawn out process i've discovered that i'm NOT the big project type and 'big' is apparently baby size. i get bored. i would knit a row or two.. then put it away for weeks....but it's finally FINALLY finished.
when i started this project it wasn't for any babe specifically, but now folks, we have a recipient! we are expecting babe #3 in the fall! soooo.... in celebration of both the finished blanket and our growing family i'm giving away two small coin purses i made with some of the left over blanket yarn.
to enter just leave a comment below and if you'd like, we are searching for a girl name... something unique, if you have any ideas for us, please share in your comment. i'll randomly pick two winners next monday, may 9th. be sure and leave some sort of ID in the comment if you are anonymous so i know how to contact you if you win! :)

ps. we don't know that it's a girl, we just already have a boy name picked out. we are having a surprise! yay!

i always liked JacyRendy. or you could just do one of these and not stick them together. but together, they mean "light of the moon" in guarani. and it was always my "girl" name after we got back from paraguay...but nick thought it was too weird. i still love it though. and "jacy" is not pronounced like jacey....i think in lazy english it would sound more like jahsah.

The blanket turned out so beautiful Mori! So excited for you and your family to welcome your new little one:) Good luck with all the moving...we'll miss you guys. ^Thats funny Esther, we almost named Sadie "Niah" I think it is greek and means water spirit. I guess you stole my name idea, so my runner up is Emmaline.
