my harvest

I started a greenhouse this summer. It was my first real go at it, and at first it was lovely...really lush, and green, and exciting. Then after a bit, it wasn't anymore.. and it got taken over with aphids and all was destroyed. All except these beauties, forty three carrots and six potatos.

The rookie... in my gardening/ craft apron.

I made this apron to use while I craft and play in the greenhouse. It keeps all my tools at hand.. scissors, sharpie, string, whatever I seemed to misplace all the time while I played. I saw this idea in the brilliant new GreenCraft magazine. It's now a part of my daily attire.
