rhubarb coffee cake.

rhubarb arrived in our full circle farm box this week... and it was such a summer tease because our rhubarb still looks like this! it'll be months before we harvest any of our own tarty goodness.

i wanted a new awesome recipe for the 3 lonely stalks i had. so i searched around the web a bit and found this lovely cake.  it's from the blog arctic garden studio. my friend esther shared this blog with me the other day and i'm so glad she did. it has loads of awesome recipes and the author lives in alaska as well. it's always fun to find blogs that i can relate too! anyway, back to the cake. it's the big crumb rhubarb coffee cake, orginally from smitten kitchen. i added a hand full of blueberries to mine!
if you still have awhile to wait for some rhubarb...be sure to hang on to this recipe!
 it's delicous.

Glad you liked the coffee cake. I need to make that one again this year. Thanks for the shout out about my blog too. Hope you are enjoying the Alaska summer. Hot enough for you? :) We are melting over here!
