it didn't have nearly enough character for my littlest lovely.

I love it, do you mind sharing how you do the edging stitch. I am totally a novice at the sewing machine, but would have fun trying something like this out, I think... Love your blog.
hi colleen! to do an applique like this, i use an iron-on double sided interfacing, then i just zig-zag stitch around it, it's simple and quick. you could totally do it! good luck! and thanks for stopping by tundra gypsy!
