i love when my mama makes these twist... especially when she comes to visit us. she said her mama used to make some similar too. they are delicious.. the best, right out of the oven. so soft and yummy! well, my mama hasn't made them in awhile and i was craving them.. so i decided to make some on my own for the first time.... and although they weren't as good as mom's
(cause lets be honest..nothing is a good as mom's) they were still good and so worth sharing! my mom got her recipe from
gumbo lily.
they are perfect for morning coffee with a friend!
