one thing about living in the "bush" is the lack of coffee shops. there are none... or very few. i miss sitting in cozy coffee shops sipping on a latte, while visiting with a friend, or reading the paper. i love the sights, the smells, and the sounds of a good coffee shop. while in the city, we get our coffee shop fix as well. today while ordering my vanilla/caramel latte, i noticed a list of "popular" coffee drink combos. one was the
tundra latte. being the tundra gypsy, i had to give it a go. so i ordered one.
"a 12oz. tundra latte please"
tiramisu. irish cream. almond. = tundra
not quite sure why that combo equals tundra but, it's a pretty tasty treat. the almond flavor was a bit overpowering... and i don't know about you..... but when i taste almond, i don't think tundra.
when i do think of tundra, i think blueberries, labrador tea, and moss. maybe they just didn't have those flavors. i don't think i'll be converting to the tundra latte any time soon.. but i did enjoy a good cup of joe nonetheless!
cheers!
